Submit your online application for ESR positions on the BioImplant ITN programme here

Successful candidates will undertake 3-year PhD programmes in the area of bioresorbable implant development, co-hosted by academic and industry members of the consortium, with positions preferably starting in July 2019.

Please carefully read CALL FOR APPLICANTS guidance document and check your eligibility before you submit your application.

Your application form consists of two parts:

  1. Online Application Form: You are requested to complete the application form below to facilitate the eligibility check of your application.
  2. PDF Application File: You must also upload a Curriculum Vitae and Cover Letter in a single PDF file when submitting this application form.

Once you submit your completed application, you will receive an automated email to confirm that your application has been submitted. Submitted information will be reviewed by the organisations in the Biomimplant ITN and will not be shared to parties outside of those organisations.

Academic Qualifications

Please outline details of your Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), listing the full title of the degree, university awarding the degree and the country this university is located.





If you have been awarded a Master’s degree (or equivalent), please list the full title of the degree, university awarding the degree and the country this university is located.





Eligibility - Early Stage researcher

Please also indicate your full-time equivalent research experience (if any) in number of months. This information is needed to determine whether you fulfil the definition of an Early Stage Researcher. Early-Stage Researchers shall, at the time of recruitment by the host organisation, be in the first four years (full-time equivalent research experience) of their research careers and have not been awarded a doctoral degree



Eligibility - International Mobility

Recruited ESRs must comply with conditions of international mobility of researchers, whereby must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of their host organisation for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to their recruitment.

Please indicate the (expected) countries you have been/will be resident in from the 1st July 2016 to the 30th June 2019
